Android would be more secure iOS?

According to Eric Schmidt, one of the leaders of Google, Android is more secure iOS. A statement that the figures rather tend to deny.
Desktop or smartphone, users face the same malware attacks. But while Apple still manages to limit the damage, Microsoft for PCs and Google for smartphones struggle to secure their ecosystem. The problem is, however, growing concern on Android that users are less familiar with the concept of malware even when they develop a sense of insecurity with respect to their smartphone. But Google is reassuring, at the risk of being laughed some.
