Technology: To KGI Securities, Apple will launch mid-2014 iPad 6 with a very high definition screen, an iMac whose price would be lower because of disappointing sales of the previous model and a MacBook Air 12-inch Retina display.
According to various websites specializing in the news' of Apple , 2014 promises a busy year for the manufacturer. And after KGI Securities firm, some product releases should indeed be confirmed in 2014 .
The iPad 6 (yes, already speculation as version 5 is not on the market yet ...) should be given a very important improvement in the display. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the pixel density is 30 to 40% higher than the current iPad 4, already 264 ppi. This product would be available in the middle of next year.
No iPad 12.9 inches or more
KGI Securities refutes however Apple's plans to launch a 12.9-inch iPad, because such a model would lose the qualities of mobility 9.7-inch version because of "technological limitations".
"Our studies indicate that the latest model iMac has sold fewer units than expected in the global market. We believe that the price was set too high, "said KGI, and considers it possible that the output of an iMac sold at more affordable prices to increase sales outside the United States.
