Apple is going to launch the construction of its new campus in Cupertino based and presented in 2011 by Steve Jobs at the municipal council of the Californian city. This has unanimously approvedthe Apple project.
Fully circular, it will have no right window and will be equipped with its own power systems using clean energy. It will accommodate 14,000 people over 4 floors. The campus is spread in a wooded park of several million square meters.
"The project certainly will cause traffic problems," acknowledged a councilor in the columns of theSan Jose Mercury News . "But I'm glad to hear that Apple will work with us to resolve these problems," he adds.
Cupertino residents have until Nov. 19 to express objections to the proposed Apple campus and submit change requests. After that, the company should initiate a first phase of work with the demolition of the buildings on the site.
